The Forever Song by Julie Kagawa

Synopsis ( back of the book) : Vengeance will be hers.

Allison Sekemoto once struggled with the question: human or monster? With the death of her love, Zeke, she has her answer.
Monster.
Allie will embrace her cold vampire side to hunt down and end Sarren, the psychopathic vampire who murdered Zeke. But the trail is bloody and long, and Sarren has left many surprises for Allie and her companions – her creator Kanin, and her blood brother, Jackal. The trail is leading straight to the one place they must protect at any cost – the last vampire-free zone on Earth, Eden. And Sarren has one final, brutal shock in store for Allie.
In a ruined world where no life is sacred and former allies can turn on you in one heartbeat, Allie will face her darkest days. And if she succeeds, her triumph will be short-lived in the face of surviving forever alone.

My Rating on Goodreads: 5/5

My Review : OMG THIS BOOK !!!! I cried so hard in this book I couldn’t breathe. For started this review will contain spoilers so here is your warning. In this book Allie gives into her monster when Zeke “dies” it was really heartbreaking seeing her end up like Jackel thank god it didn’t last too long. Near the middle of the book Allie and the gang think they catch up with Sarren in Old Chicago little do they know they found Zeke with his heart torn out. Allie at first thought he was for sure dead because Sarren left a video of him killing Zeke well just the audio. I cried at that part too:(. Turns out Zeke was a vampire, in my brain I was like they can be together now but nope Zeke ends up shoving a sword in Allies chest then tries to kill her multiple times, before she finally gets to him. Sarren turned Zeke into a Vamp but not just a normal vampire, a childer ( a childer is when the vampire manipulates their brain to be just like them and have their thoughts and wishes). Allie finally got into Zekes mind by biting him that broke the spell from Sarren. By the time the gang reaches Eden its already been attacked by raiders( crazy vampire people), When the people of Eden were trying to get a way a few of them died that we knew previously ( Matthew, Silas and Theresa). I felt bad for Zeke when he heard the news. When they got to the cargo ship that Sarren was on Bethany and Caleb were held captive hanging over water, Zeke jumped in to save them and he was successful. This is the part where I started crying Allie and Kanin went to fight Sarren turns out the cure for rabidism was inside of Kanin because he was a master vampire. Kanin jumped into the rabids on the ship trying to cure them so that they wouldn’t attack the checkpoint. His goodbye with Allie was heartbreaking and not going to lie I’m tearing up typing this. Allie found out she was a master vampire which meant that the cure was in her as well. Jackel left at the end to travel the world, Zeke and Allie went around the world to deliver the cure to everyone, Eden was saved, Kanin died at peace, I honestly love this trilogy it is so underrated and its absolutely amazing I definitely need you to go buy it right now and give it some love ❤
